- Admission
to Lourde Mata Convent Sr. Sec. School implies on the part of
the pupil and the parents willingness to comply with the requirements
and regulations of the school.
- Students
whenever they come to school must wear the uniform prescribed for the
season. Those who are not dressed in uniform may be excluded from the
class or even sent home.
- Irregular
attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of home-work, disobedience and
disrespect towards the members of the staff or bad moral influence will
lead to dismissal. The pupils are responsible to the school authorities
for their conduct both in and outside the school,
- Repeated
absence without leave, or absence for more than ten consecutive days
renders a student liable to have his/ her name struck off the rolls.
- Special
arrangements for examinations cannot be made for pupils who, for any
reason, are absent from any of the tests or examinations without prior
permission.
- Absence/leave
in an examination will be treated as having received no marks in it.
- A
student who falls twice in the same class will not be permitted to
continue studies in this school.
- Any
student found resorting to unfair means in any examination will not be
allowed to write the rest of the papers in that semester examination and
will not be allowed to continue studies in this school in the next
session.
- Students
are not allowed to be absent on the closing day/reopening day, or
whenever there is a school function.
- Computer
Science, is compulsory for all the students.
- Vehicles
will not be allowed in during school hours for safety reasons.
- Merit
is the sole criterion for admission. Admission is done on the basis of a
written test or interview. The decision of the Principal will be final
and binding on all.
- The
rates of fees are subject to change from time to time due to the
increasing cost of maintenance and other expenses.
- Parents
and students are also bound by the rules and regulations laid down in
the "Students Diary and Prospectus."
- 90%
attendance will be necessary for promotion to the next class.
- Students
of class I to XII are not allowed to bring motor cycles/scooter/mopeds
etc. to school. If any student with driving license, can be permitted
with the prior permission from the principal and the students have to
submit duly signed consent letter of the parents and the copy of the
driving license in the school office.
- If
admitted, I agree to abide by the above Rules and regulations.
- It
is mandatory for all the students seeking registration in CBSE from
class IX to XII to abide by the rules of the CBSE and in order to keep
up the standard of the board, attendance is compulsory.
